Blyth - Answered a Question by Wade (13 Jun 07 14:17)

Given the time of the year the med and the Atlantic will be coolish and on certain days going outside might not be a great idea but certainly you will need the lightweight clothing for the caribbean which is never very cool. On our trip across the north Atlantic most days it was a bit choppy with 30/40 feet waves and that was in Septmeber but the new ways of stabilising ships does mean it is much better but you will feel a good bit of movement. Given you will have no stops on the Atlantic part of your journey it all depends on which ports you might call into in the Med, a wollen jersey might be a good idea and a warm anorak but I would not take much more your ship should be well heated and as you may spend a lot of time inside normal clothing here would be the order of the day.
