Find Your Cruise
I love P & O but of all the ships they have this is not the best we did this trip last April the itinery is very good but the ship is noisy and creaking I was also ubfortunate that I had to be taken off at Cannes as I was ill and the staff and doc were wonderful like all p & o staff but chose the Aurora or Oriana also any of the new ones don't be disapointed like us with the Artimus although there were quite a lot of people who said it was there favorite ship best of luck.
My wife and i were on the Artemis last year.
The cabins have twin beds of which one isaffixed to the wall and folds down.
Not a lot of choice for entertainment compared to bigger more luxurious boats, the theatre has the usual shows and guests every night and the other show lounge tends to have easy listening bands playing. We found the average age tended to be around 70 plus so most had gone to bed by 10-11 pm, the disco was mostly used by the crew to unwind in.
However we enjoyed our cruise but would choose a more lively boat next time, ps the food is superb.
Go for a cabin on either of the decks with obstructed or partially obstructed views from the windows. a. they're cheaper and b. they only have twin beds. Also specify what it is you require when booking. We've been on this ship several times in one of the above cabins (when it was a Princess ship) and thoroughly enjoyed it.
I have been on the ship twice. Both times the twin beds were either side of the window. I believe that only on request are the beds put together. One bed is fixed and usually folded up during the day for more room. I'm sure you will find plenty to do. Not everyone does ballroom dancing. I'm going on her end of September for 29 nights, and looking forward to it.
