Umm know the feeling. After Ocean Village favourite of all for standards, cabins, food, and staff, then onto PO Ventura a lovely ship in it's first month of sailing - Med, and recently Fjords, and since twice Majesty but did not like Celebration too small, so returning on Majesty Colourful Coasts again next week. You have to try like you mention you get what you pay for, as long as the sun shines around the Canaries then it's worth it. Will be good to see the staff again they were oh so friendly and remembered your name when they served you with a drink. Good service with a smile. Thomson do have the right idea. If only they could get some modern cast off ships RCL would be good, with out the price tag and tips. !
Thomson have bought Royal Caribs Splendour of the Seas for 2016 so your wish is granted.
Could you tell me ,what the RCL ship for Thomson's will be named & where can I find it to book ,please ,thank you.
You may know by now but the new Thomson ship is Thomson Discovery (formerly Splendor of the Seas - American spelling!).
It's called Thomson discovery and will be doing the med. You can book through Thomson direct.

Splendour of the seas look in their new brochure.
I believe ship is called TUI. You can just search their website and I think it's going to the Caribbean.
Brilliant I shall be on it when I see it in the brochure. Good bit of news. I have been on all Thomson ships some several times. Value for money in my opinion.
You may also wish to know that at some point Thomson are also getting mein shiffe 1 and 2 (ex celebrity cruise ships) transferred from TUI cruises at some point in the future but no dates have been set as yet for those .
